967 Air Cadets

What are you doing this weekend?

Training

The ATC aims to develop you as an individual, giving you experiences and opportunities that you’ll struggle to get anywhere else. We help you gain these opportunities in many different ways, both through activities such as the DofE, shooting and flying, but also through structured training and development. This training underpins our more adventurous activities allowing you to get the most out of them; knowing how an aircraft flies before flying, knowing how to read a map before completing an expedition or understanding the ranks of the RAF before visiting an RAF station.

We’ll also develop your interpersonal and leadership skills, teaching you how to get the most out of others and work well within a group. As you develop your skills you can move up the rank structure and take on responsibility for less experienced Cadets.

On the Squadron you’ll also have the opportunity to take part in practical projects. Do you like making models? Writing? Interested in cars? We’ve got something to suit everyone and if you can’t find something you like then you can always suggest something new!
