Squadron Hold AGM and Summer BBQ

After a day of tricky awful weather, the sun came out for the Squadron’s Annual General Meeting and Summer BBQ. Also making an appearance was the Olympic Flame, well the torch that had carried it! More to come .

Wing Training Day 2012

Cadets from 967 recently took part in the annual inter Squadron competition for Cumbria and Lancashire Wing at Kirkham Grammar School. Among the various competitions were Drill, Shooting, Aero-Modelling, First Aid and Aircraft Recognition. A big well done to all those who took part – you should be rightfully proud!

Walk on the wild side!

  Cadets from 967 and 471 Squadrons enjoyed a day walk around Beacon Fell learning how to put their map reading skills into action. As part of their basic training all new Cadet study map reading and the walk allowed them to try out their skills in the real world for the first time.
